Cînd cotidianul vi se pare sărac nu-l acuzaţi pe el ; acuzaţi-vă pe voi, spuneţi-vă că nu sunteţi destul de poet pentru a-i evoca bogăţiile : căci pentru creator nu există sărăcie şi nici vreun loc sărac şi indiferent.
(When the daily seems to you poor do not blame it ; blame yourselves, tell yourselves that you are not enough poet for evoking its riches : because for the creative man does not exist poorness and any poor and indifferent place.)
