Omul este asemănător cu apa curgătoare, pe care, numai ce o tulburi, că nu îi mai vezi fundul; iar fundul apei este plin de mărgăritare şi corali. Fii cu băgare de seamă şi nu tulbura omul, căci el e curat şi limpede. Sufletul omului e asemănător cu aerul care, dacă-l tulburi cu praf, ajunge văl în faţa cerului şi ascunde soarele.
( The man is alike the running water, as soon as you muddy it you cannot see its bottom; and the bottom of the water is full of pearls and corals. Be careful and do not trouble the man, because he is pure and clear. The man's soul is alike the air which, if you stir with dust, it becomes a veil in front of the sun, hiding it.)
